Hello colleagues,
I have got a question according to modification transports being used in support packages, other updates or upgrades:
Assuming, that we have a system landscape with SAP systems DEV, QAS and PRD and two modified SAP tables T1 and T2 in DEV. Now, these modified tables have both been transported to QAS, but only T1 has also been transported to PRD.
How does the upgrade in PRD behave when using the modification transports of DEV of my first upgrade?
a) Will it see, that there is only a modified T1 table and use the adjustment of the transport and nothing more happens?
or
b) No matter it there is a modified table T1 or T2 (or both), it uses the adjustment of the modification transport.
Is there an official SAP note or link from help.sap.com where this behaviour is described?
