Dear SAP Expert,
I have end-up in inconsistent situation after EHP Update because I used two different tools.
These are the background:
My Development system was already EHP5. But because business requirement, I have to install additional Technical Usage (PSM) on it. As I have upgraded before my landscape from EHP4 to EHP5 using EHPInstaller. I decided to use the same tool.
After the installation I have two tablespace PSAPSR3702 and PSAPSR3702X (a new one). Than I dropped the empty tablespace (PSAPSR3702).
Now, I need to update Quality system. Based on latest notes, master guide and EHP installation informed I should using SUM rather than EHPInstaller. So I decided to use it. Along the SUM I decided to use "Single System" as no issue with Downtime.
I found out no need to create new tablespace PSAPSR3702X only to extend tablespace PSAPSR3702.
So now, Development and quality systems have different tablespace structure.
Restore QA to previous stage is out of choice, so my options as follow:
- System Copy - Export/Import
- Migrate tablespace from PSAPSR3702X to PSAPSR3702.
Moving the tables/indexes shouldn't an issue (brtools), but the question is how about the SAP data dictionary, any tool should I use to adjust it?
- Or I use trick by implement another small EHP5 update (such as LSO) using EHPinstaller, I think I will get it back PSAPSR3702 as the final tablespace.Anyone experienced with another update (third time) of EHP5, do you really got it PSAPSR3702 again? or it will give another name of tablespace.
Please help and thanks a lot,
Regards,
Dimyati
